A blend of the very best parcels of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Monkshatch vineyard. All the base wine was fermented and aged in old oak barrels to give a luxurious richness and texture and aged in the Greyfriars cave for years before release. A refined nose combining the flavours of freshly baked pastries and hints of a creamy apple based dessert. On the palate the vibrant citrus notes from the Chardonnay are perfectly harmonised with the gentle softness of the Pinot Noir leading to a luxurious finish reminiscent of baked Braeburn apples.
