Go large or go home!

Sparkling wine is definitely at it's best when served from a Magnum. And it isn't just the size that's appealing. A Magnum is the largest bottle size for lees ageing, anything larger, Jeroboams, Methuselahs etc, is decanted from smaller bottles. The relatively small air gap at the top of the bottle allows for wonderful ageing potential, Magnums tend to age for longer than their smaller cousins.
