This is a superlative wine, fruit driven with great complexity of flavour. This is perfect for drinking now but will improve with laying down. Made by English wine wunderkind Dermot Sugrue from a small 1 acre vineyard once owned by the medieval Bishops of Winchester. Mostly Pinot Noir with a small amount of co-fermented Chardonnay
Matthew Jukes says: "Very charming and forward on the nose with pear and apple fruit and some succulence beneath the veneer"
