Chilworth Manor

Established in 2013 with the expert help of renowned wine consultant, Stephen Skelton,  11,000 vines were planted the following year. They are a classic combination of Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes on a 10 acre site nestled in the beautiful Surrey Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, between Guildford and Dorking. At Chilworth Manor Vineyard, the approach to growing vines has developed naturally from the way the gardens and estate have been managed as a whole. At its heart is a vision of sustainability supporting not only the vineyard itself but the wider environment.  The countryside surrounding us is a haven for bird and wildlife and is a magnet for walkers, riders and cyclists. Chilworth Manor are a founding member of the Sustainable Wines of Great Britain, a Scheme launched in February 2020. The Scheme is a call to vineyards across the country to establish environmental sustainability as a cornerstone of the UK wine industry. The vineyard has so far produced three excellent quality rosé wines in 2017, 2018 and 2019 from their Pinot Noir and will be launching their first English Sparkling wine in the form of a Classic Cuvée in 2021.
