Extra Brut from highest estate in the UK
On the nose, the bouquet opens with warm brioche and subtle nuttiness, lifted by the aromas of golden apple and ripe yellow plum. Hinta of apricot and honeysuckleadd a delicate floral note, giving both richness and finesse. On the palate a generous orchard and stonefruit, underpinned by the creamy richness and savoury depth that define the Oriana style. The palate is rich and generously structured, creating a giving an enveloping style of wine. The finish is long and and concentrated, unfolding with baked apple, caramelised citrus peel and a delicate toasted almond. A chalky mineral thread, true to the South Downs terroir, brings clarity and definition, while lingering freshness invites another sip.
