Upperton

Upperton Vineyard is located in the delightful downland village bearing the same name, just outside Petworth.  This Sussex vineyard was planted in 2005 by Andy Rogers on the perfect free draining Lower Greensand soil, sweeping down to a magnificent panorama of the South Downs. James lived next door to Andy at the time, and the experience of watching the vineyard grow and develop (occasionally helping out by tasting the wines)  was what first fired his passion for English wines. They currently make a range of five  excellent international award winning English Sparkling Wines.
